Volunteer Opportunities
Our current volunteer opportunities are:
Committees:
- Marketing - Development of marketing materials for volunteers, community and donors, advertising campaign, publicity, maintaining our events in the various community calendars, web site updates
- Finance - Organizational and grant accounting, ensuring we comply with all state and federal reporting requirements
- Development - Search for and development of new funding streams such as grant writing, events, major donors, and corporate donors
Program groups:
Participate on the LBT Women’s Wellness Program Group.
- perform outreach
- gather referrals for LGBTQ and LGBTQ friendly Health Care Providers
- promote LBT Women’s Wellness Program
Participate on the Tobacco Cessation and Prevention Program Group.
- prepare cultural competency training for Health Care Providers
- distribute information
Other
Coordinate or help with fundraising events.
- drag shows, gayme nights, dinner parties, bowling tournaments, etc.
Promote The Center at community events.
- Sit at a Center Booth
- Pass out flyers and brochures at community events
