Letter To The Community

It has recently come to the attention of The Inland Northwest LGBT Center Board of Directors that certain members of the community have questioned our integrity. This deeply saddens us for we are and will continue to be an open and honest organization dedicated to serving, you, the community.

As community members you have the right to see our financials and board minutes, and we encourage you to come to the Center and see our records. While there take a look at the the activities and programs we are currently engaged. Due to a recent change of servers for our website, the financials and board minutes are in the process of being re-posted as well as the newly adopted By Laws that went into effect on December 19, 2011. The financials are sent out regularly as part of our monthly newsletter, most recently in our January issue.

We have recently had changes to the board that do include the departure of three members. One of those members chose to resign for personal reasons. The other two were not re-appointed to the board at our most recent meeting, held January 2, 2012. The current board is comprised of Carol Ehrhart, Leigh Redeker, Andrew Wolf, Jennifer Brewster, Bonnie Langford, Matthew Cannon, Stephen Lavelle, and Frank Cooper. On January 16, 2012 we will be holding elections for our executive board.

As your community center we maintain a full slate of activities. These are created to meet the needs of the community.

We are open Monday through Friday from 12:00 to 6:00 and are located at 1522 N. Washington Ste. 102. Come see what we are doing for the community. Ask any questions you may have. Help us build a more vibrant open community.
