2012 Rainbow Awards
- On Monday, June 4, 2012 The Inland Northwest LGBT Center will hold the annual Rainbow Awards to honor outstanding members and allies of the local LGBT community. This year’s event will be held at theUnitarian Universalist Church of Spokane at 4340 W. Wright Dr. The Night will feature dinner and an awards ceremony honoring members of our community for their service.
The Inland Northwest LGBT Center is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to building a vibrant LGBT community in the inland northwest. Since 1997, The Center has served the city of Spokane and the surrounding rural areas of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho by providing a heart of the community and providing opportunities for educating both the LGBT community and the community at large.
The Rainbow Awards are a long standing tradition held during Pride here in Spokane. This gives the community here in Spokane an opportunity to celebrate outstanding members, who have gone above and beyond in helping the LGBT community.
The Inland Northwest LGBT Center would like to include you in the Rainbow Awards. We are asking all members of our community to go to our website and complete the nomination for anyone that you feel has greatly contributed to the LGBT community here Spokane. Our ideal timeline is that we receive nominations by May 18, 2012.
